They say the best things happen by accident — this thing sure did.

We're a bunch of caffeine-fuelled dreamers, doodlers, and daydream believers who turned a wild idea into reality right here on the Mornington Peninsula. It started with a vacant building, a shared frustration about finding the right studio space, and a whole lot of "what if we just… did it?" Late into 2024, our future home went up for lease - and after a flurry of conversations, we signed on the dotted line.

We took over the keys in the early hours of 2025, pushed our business, DIY, and interior design skills to the limit, and on March 15th, 2025, That Creative Space officially opened its doors — a working art studio, workshop venue, and gift shop in Mornington.

Our creative studio thrives on big imaginations, bad puns, and good vibes. We're the friend who hypes you up, the artist who brings your ideas to life, and the space where creativity actually happens.

Since those early days, we've grown into something more. Our space isn't just about what we create — it's about the connections we make. Here, you'll find art classes, creative workshops, retail shelves filled with handmade goods, Cute Fun Shop, brainstorming sessions that go for hours, and maybe a dance break or two. We're big believers in lifting each other up, celebrating each other's wins, and learning from our missteps.
